What it is, in plain terms.

Stillee is an evidence-based mindfulness app. It includes a free panic flow that opens with one tap. A dedicated 3 AM mode written for the middle of the night, separate from bedtime. A curated NSDR library at three lengths. A breathing room with patterns named for the evidence they draw on. And a set of multi-week programs that build on each other, including an eight-week course built on the MBSR curriculum.

It runs on iOS. Android is planned.

What it is not.

It is not therapy. It does not diagnose or treat clinical conditions. It is not a thousand-track library to browse for an hour. It is not a famous-voice celebrity guide. It is not a streak counter dressed up as a wellness product.

Where the evidence comes from.

The practices in Stillee are grounded in clinical and experimental evidence that we can name. The 8-Week Mindfulness Course is built on the MBSR curriculum developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979, which has the strongest evidence base in the consumer mindfulness category. The panic flow uses cyclic sighing as the default rhythm, the technique that outperformed mindfulness on mood and respiratory rate in a 2023 Stanford randomized controlled trial. The 3 AM mode draws on the CBT-I literature, specifically cognitive shuffle and paradoxical intention. The NSDR library carries Yoga Nidra structure with the modern framing.
